Here are a few suggestions:

Write the new thoughts out and copy them with your non dominant hand

Carry the new thoughts around with you and read them several times a day

Clean up your language and make sure you are being positive and affirm the changes you want to make

Read and watch inspiring and motivational things

Surround yourself with positive people

To succeed in an online business you need to have the right information and make an  informed decision before buying.  there are number of  different ways to make money and most, approx 90% in fact, is made from one of the following four.

1. Affiliate Marketing.

This is where you make a commission on the sale of someone else’s product that you do the marketing for.  Sometimes you’ll need a website or a lead capture page but sometimes you don’t.  You can find Affiliate products in a number of different places, probably the most popular is Clickbank.

2. Information Products.

The good news here is that you get to keep 100% of the money from each sale.  You can produce your own products or you can outsource and have someone produce the product for you (Elance.com is useful for this) if you don’t like writing.  You can buy Information products that have MRS(master resale right) so you sell someone Else’s product and can grant the same rights to your customers, or PLR’s (private label rights) where you can make some changes and put your own spin on the information contained inside and make it your own

3. Business opportunities.

Usually a  High Ticket product, this has the most appeal when it comes to wanting to make a lot of money online.

You earn by making a percentage from the sale of the opportunity to someone that you recruit into your team (downline), and you also make a percentage when they recruit people into there’s, creating leverage, by making money from work you didn’t do, hence the appeal. Now this can be hundreds or even thousands of dollars, so you don’t need to sell many to be really in the money.

These opportunities are usually home based online businesses, and are the ones with the flashy websites and back offices, and they attract lots of interest.  These businesses usually fall into 3 categories:

a. Information businesses.

b. Coaching and training

c. Travel

They are very lucrative and very sort after.

4. MLM/Network Marketing.

Here you make a small percentage from the front sale and a smaller percentage from your downline, which is why you need to have a huge downline of people to make a lot of money. On the downside, there is a huge drop out rate so you need to be continually recruiting to sustain you income. You also need to have a quality product or it will fail. The sorts of products we are talking about are vitamins, juices etc.

So here’s the secret to making money online:

Find a niche market that wants your product — build a list of subscribers — develop a relationship with that list — sell what they want

This is not rocket science, and using any of the four methods described will make you money.

Now for the bad news…. most will fail!!

and why… because of bad information, the lack of help and support, a poor marketing system, they don’t do whats needed to succeed or they just give up.

Lots of people have very high expectations about their income in the first month, but the truth of the matter is that 10-20k is unrealistic and you had better change you outlook.  Unfortunately lots of products are sold around this potential income premise. Please don’t be sucked in.

Watch out for things that promise full automation (there’s no such thing!) and the pre-launch offer most don’t make it to the launch date, and chain letters, you know the one, send 10 dollars then send this to everyone you know who will send you 10 dollars blah,blah,blah. Just beware of the scams, if it looks to good to be true it often is.

So whats the REAL TRUTH about how you make money online?

ALL real money is being made from MARKETING and personal positioning. Its not important what you market its HOW you market. Period!

Are You as Successful As the 5 People You Spend the Most Time Around?

One of the first subjects covered in the YourNetBiz training is the importance of surrounding yourself with positive people.  The road of the entrepreneur is not an easy one and your mindset is everything.  Just as an athlete needs to be in top fitness to perform, so the entrepreneur needs to have a million dollar mindset.   This means eeking out the negative thoughts, having excellent self beliefs, staying positive, turning set-backs into challenges, keeping focussed and motivated and never giving up.  This takes courage, hard work and dedication.  Good fortune follows good inner work.

Think about it carefully,  think of  the 5 people who you spend the most time with.  What do you do together?  What do you talk about? What bonds you together?   How successful are they?  How successful are you?  If you are truly serious about achieving success either online or offline then you really need to think about this one.

What you think about and talk about you create.  If you are having negative thoughts and conversations all the time then how do you expect to call success into your life?  On the other hand if you are having inspiring conversations and thoughts, you will automatically start to see opportunities and possibilities and turn those into realities.

Success flourishes when we have that excited sense of possibility.  If we are not careful, negative people can pop that bubble leaving us deflated and demoralised.  Not surprisingly,  the most negative people online are those who have tried and failed and are angry or disappointed.  You can find them posting things in scam forums, or tearing other people or businesses to shreds.  This is not to say that scams do not exist, clearly they do, but why go there?   It is a bit like reading the newspapers and taking an interest in the stories about other people’s misfortunes.  Why do it?

Don’t expect any of the  negative or pessimistic  friends or acquaintances to encourage or applaud your success, they probably won’t.  On the other hand positive people will not be threatened by your achievements.  They will have the mindset of abundance and know that your success is not in competition with theirs.  They will congratulate you on every baby step forward and be encouraging when you tumble.

As you become more and more successful, be alert to any of the negative influences in your life suggesting that you have changed or become selfish.  This could lead to self-doubts and a less than sparkling mindset.  If you let those thoughts in, they will eat away at your confidence and self-esteem.  Not good.

Surround yourself with people who make you feel good about yourself and who affirm you as a winner.  Choose people who have similar goals and aspirations and spend time with them.  Something magical happens when you do this, the energy grows bigger as the whole is much greater than the sum of the parts.

How to use a Journal to get Successful

Being successful is not just about making money online.  Being successful is about being physically, mentally, spiritually and financially all you can be.  If you make a lot of money but become physically unhealthy or alienate your friends and family along the way, then you are not successful.  The money itself will not make you happy unless you make sure everything else is good in your life.

Journal writing is a great way to check in honestly with your self, set goals and tackle challenges.  Make your journal your constant companion.  You can make one journal work really hard for you and perform all kinds of functions.

Emotional Dumping and Exploration

You can use your journal to explore your feelings, make them conscious and examine where unwanted feelings are coming from.  You can release overwhelming feelings in a safe way and disentangle and demysitfy the ones that are perplexing.  You can connect the dots between what you are feeling on the inside and what is happening on the outside.

Healing

Many of our current feelings actually belong in the past.  They have roots somewhere else and we keep ‘acting them out’ in the present.  Learn to use your journal in a non-judgemental way to forgive yourself and others and let old feelings go.  Louise Hay is a fantastic authority on learning to love and accept yourself as you are.  This is fundamental to success.  All the time you are critical of yourself, or hold on to old hurts you will not feel successful, no matter how much money you make.  Use your journal as a therapist or counsellor.  Use it to identify your repeating patterns and use it to break the unhelpful ones.  Be really honest with yourself.

Commitment

Make a commitment to yourself to keep a diary everyday.  Keeping the commitment will help build self-trust and when you have this you can do anything.  You cannot trust anything and no one can trust you unless you trust yourself.  That is not to say that if you miss a day you have blown it, but if you honour your promises to yourself you will have mastered one of the corner stones of success. Use it to allow your amazing self to emerge.  Discipline is a necessary part of achieving goals no matter what.  Just ask any athlete.

Live life to the Fullest- your dream journal

Use your journal creatively to start mapping out the life that you want.  Use it to start visualising all of the wonderful things that you want to create in your life.  Have fun with it, play with it and let yourself be the you of all of your wildest dreams.  Plant seeds but don’t dig them up too soon.  Move towards the best version of yourself that you can be. Soon you will be seeing fantastic results and solving problems that you have been tackling for a long time.  Be completely true to yourself and your self will be true to you. You can keep your journals and look back on them to see how far you have come.

Kick the perfectionist into touch

If you want to be successful, you need to  trust that you are fine, exactly as you are now.  Yes, there is always room for improvement, but you are ok now.  We all are.  We are all doing the best we can with the tools we have now.  Otherwise we would be doing it differently.  If you know you want to change something, use the journal to explore what it is you need to do differently. The relationship with the journal will somehow reflect the relationship you have with life.  If you are avoiding writing, what else are you avoiding?  If you are harsh about the messiness or imperfection, guess what?  You are hard on yourself somewhere else.  If you start and don’t continue, how many other unfinished projects do you have?  Observe yourself and then use this information to tweak and change and grow.

The small voice

The still small voice is small because it wants you to shut up your inner critic long enough to hear it.  It wants to affirm you and guide you, but if you have the usual tapes running there will be too much foreground noise and you will miss it.  If you are in touch with it it will improve your decision making and intuition.  It is the part of you that has all the answers if you ask the right questions and take time to listen.

Become the author of your own story, the master of your own destiny.  Discover all of the wonderful aspects of yourself and become as authentic as you can be.  Harness the unconscious, the sub conscious and the conscious aspects of who you are and be amazingly, completely and absolutely yourself and you can’t go wrong.  Don’t just visualise what the ego wants, visualise those aspects of your soul that truly know what is in your best interest. This is the secret.
